Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Make the Breading
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Wings
Carefully add the breaded wings to the hot oil, a few at a time. Fry for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Drain the Wings
Remove the wings with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Toss in Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with your favorite sauce until well coated.
