Crab Balls
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and the beaten egg. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- 2
Form the Balls
Using your hands, shape the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Ensure the oil is hot enough for frying.
- 4
Fry the Crab Balls
Carefully add the crab balls to the hot oil, frying them in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown on all sides.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, remove the crab balls from the oil and let them drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of signature sauce.
