Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tuna

Pat the Ahi Tuna dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil and coat evenly with Cajun seasoning.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a skillet over high heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Heat until the oil is shimmering but not smoking.

  3. 3

    Sear the Tuna

Carefully place the seasoned tuna in the hot skillet. Sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or longer if desired.

  4. 4

    Slice the Tuna

Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a minute. Slice the tuna into thin strips.

  5. 5

    Serve

Arrange the sliced tuna on a plate, drizzle with soy sauce, and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
