Cocktail

Method

Rim

1

Pour the granulated sugar onto a small plate or shallow bowl and spread it into an even layer.

2

Pour 0.25 oz (about 1/2 teaspoon) fresh lemon juice into a second small dish for wetting the glass rim.

3

Take a Collins or highball glass and run the lemon-wet finger or the wedge around the rim to moisten evenly. Immediately dip the moistened rim into the sugar and twist to coat. Set the glass aside to let the sugar adhere.

Cocktail

4

Build and shake

Add 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka, 1 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.75 oz simple syrup, and 2 oz cold water into a cocktail shaker filled about half full with ice.

5

Cap the shaker and shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and well-chilled.

6

Fill the sugar-rimmed glass with fresh ice (crushed or cubes, about 1 cup). Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass.

7

Garnish with a lemon wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally give the lemon a quick squeeze over the drink for extra brightness.

8

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
