Cooking Instructions
Cook the Noodles
In a large pot of boiling water, cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Protein
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the sliced bell peppers, carrots, and onion. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
