Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Saffron

Soak the saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm milk for about 10 minutes to release their color and flavor.

2

Blend the Base

In a blender, combine the mango pulp, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Mixing

3

Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, add the blended mango mixture and stir in the soaked saffron (with the milk) and ground cardamom. Mix well to combine all flavors.

Freezing

4

Pour into Molds

Pour the mango kulfi mixture into kulfi molds or a freezer-safe container. Tap gently to remove any air bubbles.

5

Freeze

Cover the molds or container with a lid or plastic wrap and place them in the freezer. Freeze for at least 6 hours or until solid.

Serving

6

Serve with Garnish

Once frozen, remove the kulfi from the molds by running warm water over the outside or gently pulling them out. Garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
