Prepare the Glass
If desired, rim the glass with salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and then dip it into a plate of salt until the rim is coated to your liking.

Mix Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the Ilegal Joven Mezcal, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup.

Shake
Add ice to the shaker, cover, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients well.

Strain
Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice, ensuring that no ice chips make it into the final drink.

Garnish
Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim of the glass for added presentation.
