Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather and prepare all ingredients. Mince the garlic and ginger, chop the scallions, and cilantro. Ensure the lobster meat is cooked and roughly chopped.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Rice

If you haven't done so already, cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions and allow it to cool. It's best if the rice is made a few hours in advance or the day before.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add Scallions

Add the chopped scallions to the skillet. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until they become tender.

  3. 5

    Incorporate Rice

Add the cooked jasmine rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps. Stir well to combine with the aromatics.

  4. 6

    Add Lobster and Soy Sauce

Gently fold in the lobster meat and soy sauce, mixing thoroughly. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  5. 7

    Finish with Cilantro

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped cilantro. Adjust seasoning with more soy sauce if desired.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Serve the lobster fried rice hot, garnished with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zesty flavor.
