Prepare the Ingredients
Begin by rinsing the wild Pacific salmon under cold water and patting it dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

Prepare the Jalapeño
Dice the jalapeño, removing the seeds if you prefer less heat. Set aside.

Prepare the Onions
Slice the onions thinly. Set aside.

Prepare the Tomatoes
Wash the cherry tomatoes and set them aside for blistering.
Cooking

Caramelize the Onions
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Blister the Tomatoes
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the cherry tomatoes. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes are blistered. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
