For the Juicy Nookie
Method
Preparation of the Juicy Nookie
- 1
Prepare the Cheese Filling
Cut the pepper jack cheese into small cubes, about 1/2 inch in size. Set aside.
- 2
Mix the Beef Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well with your hands until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 3
Form the Patties
Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions. Flatten one portion into a patty, place a few cubes of pepper jack cheese in the center, and then fold the edges of the patty around the cheese to encase it completely. Ensure the cheese is fully sealed inside. Repeat with the remaining beef portions.
- 4
Cook the Patties
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the cheese-stuffed patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) for medium doneness.
Assembling the Burger
- 5
Prepare the Buns
While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
