Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Vegetables
Rinse the Romaine lettuce under cold water, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- 2
Combine Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped Romaine lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.
- 3
Add Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
- 4
Add Parmesan
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the salad and toss again gently to mix.
Crouton Preparation
- 5
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread slices into small cubes.
- 6
Season the Croutons
In a mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the bread is evenly coated.
- 7
Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway through.
- 8
Cool and Serve
Once baked, remove the croutons from the oven and let them cool slightly. Add the croutons to the salad just before serving.
