Method
Preparation of Fries
- 1
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).
- 2
Fry the Waffle Fries
Carefully add the waffle fries to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- 3
Drain the Fries
Remove the fries from the oil using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Season with salt to taste.
Assembly
- 4
Layer the Fries
On a large serving platter or individual plates, create a generous layer of the crispy waffle fries.
- 5
Add Corned Beef
Evenly distribute the shredded corned beef over the fries.
- 6
Top with Sauerkraut
Spoon the drained sauerkraut over the corned beef layer.
- 7
Sprinkle Swiss Cheese
Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese generously over the sauerkraut.
- 8
Drizzle Dressing
Finish by drizzling the 1000 Island dressing over the entire dish.
