Preparing the Au Jus

Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well.

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Allow it to simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Assemble the Sandwich
Preheat your broiler. Split the hoagie rolls and layer them with the roast beef, sautéed onions, and Swiss cheese.

Place the assembled sandwiches under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
