Blue Cheese Dressing
Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures that the wings cook evenly and become crispy.
- 2
Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are well coated.
- 3
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and cooked through.
- 5
Prepare the Sauce
While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Once melted, add the hot sauce and stir to combine.
- 6
Toss in Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the hot sauce mixture until well coated.
Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
- 7
Mix the Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 8
Blend Until Smooth
Use a fork or a hand mixer to blend the ingredients until well combined. You can leave some chunks of blue cheese for texture if desired.
- 9
Chill the Dressing
Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
