Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Combine base spirits and liqueurs

In a cocktail shaker, add the dark rum, light rum, banana liqueur, and raspberry liqueur.

2

Add juices and sweetener

Pour in the fresh orange juice, pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, and rich simple syrup. Add one dash of Angostura bitters.

3

Shake with ice

Add a handful of regular ice to the shaker (enough to chill vigorously). Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well-chilled and slightly diluted.

Assembly & Garnish

4

Fill a double old-fashioned glass or a Collins glass about three-quarters full with crushed ice (approximately 1.5–2 cups).

5

Strain the shaken cocktail over the crushed ice, allowing the liquid to cascade into the glass and settle among the ice.

6

Top with a small additional mound of crushed ice if desired to create a 'crush' presentation.

7

Garnish by threading 3 fresh raspberries on a pick (optional) and placing a pineapple wedge and lime wheel on the rim. Add a mint sprig for aroma. If you like, express an orange or lime peel over the drink before dropping it in.

8

Serve with a short straw and enjoy immediately while very cold.
