Preparation

1

Prep the Ingredients

Dice the bell pepper into small pieces. Set aside.

2

Mix the Base

In a cocktail shaker, combine the espadin mezcal, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup. Fill the shaker with ice.

Mixing

3

Shake the Cocktail

Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

4

Add Flavor Enhancers

Add the diced bell pepper, smoked chili powder, and a pinch of salt into the shaker. Shake gently to incorporate the flavors without breaking down the bell pepper too much.

Serving

5

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, leaving the bell pepper pieces behind.

6

Garnish

Garnish with a sprig of fresh cilantro and a lime wheel on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately.
