In a cocktail shaker, combine the mezcal, Ancho Reyes Verde, and lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer.
