Fit Turkey Wrap

Chill a clean draft glass slightly (refrigerated or rinsed with cold water). Ensure the glass is free of detergent residue, oils, or lipstick by rinsing briefly with cold water right before pouring.

Prepare glassware

Select the style of draft beer you want to serve (Light Lager, IPA, Stout, etc.). Decide which of the available sizes the customer ordered: Small 10 oz, Medium 20 oz, or Large 32 oz.

Choose beer and size

Hold the glass at a 45-degree angle under the beer tap spout, about 1–2 inches below the tap outlet, to minimize foam while allowing a controlled pour.

Position the glass

Open the tap fully in one smooth motion. Aim the stream to hit the inside wall of the glass to preserve carbonation and reduce excessive head. Keep the glass at 45 degrees until it is about three-quarters full.

Start the pour

When the beer reaches roughly 3/4 of the target volume, slowly straighten the glass to vertical and continue pouring to build a 3/4–1 inch head (about 1–2 cm for lagers; up to 1 inch is acceptable for most styles). For stouts or nitro beers that require more crema, allow a slightly thicker head per style guidelines.

Straighten and finish

If excessive foam forms, briefly stop the pour and allow the foam to settle, then top off to the desired level. If too little head forms, pour a small extra amount to create a 1/2–1 inch head as appropriate.

Adjust head and top off

Wipe any drips from the glass, optionally present a lemon or lime wedge for beers that pair with citrus. Present the beer with the label or tap name visible so the customer can confirm the selection.

Garnish and serve

Return the tap handle to its resting position. Rinse the glass and bar area as needed between pours. Periodically clean taps and lines per schedule to ensure quality of subsequent pours.
