Prepare the Endive

Wash and dry the Belgian endive. Cut the endive heads in half lengthwise and remove any tough core if necessary. Chop them into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Prepare the Apple

Core and slice the apple into thin wedges. Add the apple slices to the bowl with the endive.

Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Combine the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the endive and apple mixture. Toss gently to combine.

Add Cheese and Hazelnuts

Crumble the buttermilk blue cheese over the top of the salad and sprinkle the candied hazelnuts. Toss lightly to mix.
