Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the blackberries under cold running water and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. Set aside.

2

Juice the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice into a small bowl. Strain the juice to remove any seeds or pulp.

3

Chop the Thyme

Remove the thyme leaves from the stem by running your fingers down the stem. Discard the stems and chop the leaves finely.

Mixing

4

Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of blackberries, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh thyme, the strained lemon juice, 2 ounces of Aplòs Calme, and 1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup.

5

Muddle the Mixture

Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press down on the mixture in the shaker to release the juices from the blackberries and thyme. Muddle for about 20-30 seconds.

Serving

6

Strain and Serve

Fill a glass with ice and strain the muddled mixture into the glass, discarding the solids. Garnish with 2 blackberries and a sprig of thyme.

7

Enjoy

Stir gently to combine the flavors and enjoy your calming Midnight Rain cocktail.
