Rainbow Fruit Smoothie (Kid-Friendly)
Chocolate Banana Milk (Warm or Cold)
Sparkling Fruit Cooler (Non-Alcoholic Fizzy Drink)
Method
Rainbow Fruit Smoothie (Kid-Friendly)
Blend base
In a blender combine frozen strawberries, banana, yogurt and 1/2 cup milk. Add 1/2 tablespoon honey. Blend on high until smooth and pour the strawberry layer into a pitcher or tall glass. Rinse blender jar lightly.
Blend mango layer
Add frozen mango, remaining banana (if any), remaining yogurt if desired, and 1/2 cup milk to the blender. Add remaining honey if needed. Blend until smooth. Carefully pour the mango layer over the strawberry layer to create a two-tone effect. If layering is difficult, gently spoon the second layer on top.
Garnish and serve
Pour into kid-sized cups. Top with mini fruit pieces and a straw. Serve immediately.
Chocolate Banana Milk (Warm or Cold)
Mix cocoa paste
In a small bowl whisk together cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon of the milk, and the pinch of salt until you form a smooth paste (this prevents lumps).
Combine and heat (for warm)
In a small saucepan, combine the remaining milk, mashed banana, honey, and vanilla. Warm gently over medium-low heat until steaming (do not boil), whisking occasionally. Stir in the cocoa paste and whisk until fully combined and slightly thickened, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Blend (for extra smooth texture)
Optional: For a frothier, smoother drink, pour the warm mixture into a blender and blend 10–15 seconds, then return to the cup.
Sparkling Fruit Cooler (Non-Alcoholic Fizzy Drink)
Prepare glass and fruit
Place 4 ice cubes into a tall glass. Add fresh fruit slices and mint sprig to the glass for infusion and garnish.
Mix juices
In a measuring cup combine 100% fruit juice and lemon or lime juice. Stir in simple syrup or honey if using until dissolved.
Combine with sparkling water
Pour the juice mixture over the ice and fruit. Top slowly with chilled sparkling water or club soda (about 2 cups). Stir gently once to combine, being careful to retain fizz.
Garnish and serve
Add a mint sprig on top and an extra fruit slice on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw.
