Shrimp and Marinade

Method

Preparation and Cooking

1

Marinate the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine the chopped lemongrass, grated ginger, minced garlic, fish sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, and chili flakes. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved. Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.

3

Grill the Shrimp

Remove the shrimp from the marinade and thread them onto skewers. Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.

4

Serve

Remove the shrimp from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
