Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

2

Prepare Hash Browns

In the same skillet with some of the bacon drippings, add the hash browns and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-6 minutes on each side. Once done, remove and set aside.

3

Whisk the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until well beaten. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Cooking

4

Cook the Omelet

In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt over medium heat. Pour in the beaten eggs, tilting the skillet to spread them evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to set.

5

Add Fillings

Chop the cooked bacon and sprinkle it over one half of the omelet along with the hash browns and cheddar cheese.

6

Fold and Finish Cooking

Using a spatula, carefully fold the other half of the omelet over the fillings. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the eggs are fully cooked.

7

Serve

Gently slide the omelet onto a plate and serve hot, garnished with additional black pepper or fresh herbs if desired.
