Prepare the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or ground turkey until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Season the Meat
Add taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the meat. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the seasoning is well incorporated.

Prepare Black Beans (if using)
If using black beans, heat them in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed through. Add a pinch of salt to taste.

Set Up Your Taco Station
Lay out Saltine crackers on a serving platter. Each cracker will serve as a base for your taco.

Add the Meat or Beans
Place a spoonful of the cooked meat or black beans on top of each Saltine cracker.

Top with Fresh Ingredients
Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, and avocado slices on top of the meat/beans as desired.
