Butter Mixture

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet, drain on paper towels, and crumble into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Make the Butter Mixture

In the same skillet, melt the stick of unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, chopped parsley, and hot sauce. Mix well and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Oysters

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Shuck the oysters and place them on a baking sheet, half shell up. Make sure they are stable.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble Ingredients on Oysters

On each oyster, place a spoonful of crawfish tails, followed by a sprinkle of crumbled bacon, and then top with grated Parmesan cheese.

  2. 5

    Add Butter Mixture

Drizzle the prepared hot sauce butter mixture generously over each oyster.

Cooking

  1. 6

    Bake the Oysters

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  2. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
