Crab Claws

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Claws

If using frozen crab claws, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight or under cold running water for 30 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels.

Sautéing Method

  1. 2

    Sauté the Crab Claws

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 3

Add the crab claws to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are heated through.

  3. 4

Drizzle lemon juice over the crab claws and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss to coat.

  4. 5

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Frying Method

  1. 6

    Prepare the Breading

In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.

  3. 8

Dredge each crab claw in the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumbs.

  4. 9

    Fry the Crab Claws

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 10

Carefully add the breaded crab claws in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  6. 11

Remove the fried crab claws and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt while hot.
