Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Crust Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Make sure it's evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Bake the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let it cool completely.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Add Dulce de Leche

Once the crust has cooled, spread the dulce de leche evenly over the bottom of the crust.

  2. 5

    Layer Bananas

Arrange the sliced bananas on top of the dulce de leche, covering it completely.

Topping Preparation

  1. 6

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the cream until soft peaks form.

  2. 7

    Spread the Whipped Cream

Spread the whipped cream over the bananas, smoothing it out with a spatula.

  3. 8

    Final Touches

Drizzle the brewed Beanfruit coffee over the whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings if desired.

Serving

  1. 9

    Chill and Serve

Refrigerate the pie for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the layers to set. Slice and enjoy your delicious Banoffee Pie!
