Place Champagne flutes in the freezer for 10–15 minutes or fill them with ice water for 5 minutes to chill. Empty ice water before pouring.

If using garnish, thread 2–3 raspberries onto a cocktail pick or gently float 2 raspberries and one thin strawberry slice in the bottom of each flute. Alternatively, twist a lemon peel over the flute to express oils and drop it in.

Remove the foil and loosen the wire cage while keeping a thumb over the cork. Hold the bottle at a 45° angle, grip the cork and slowly twist the bottle (not the cork) to ease the cork out with a quiet sigh. Wipe the bottle lip with a clean cloth.

Pour Nectar Impérial slowly into each chilled flute, filling about two-thirds (roughly 4–5 fl oz / 120–150 ml) to preserve bubbles and prevent overflow. If using a wine glass, fill no more than half full to allow aromatics to develop.

Peach variation: for a Bellini-like twist, place 2 tbs peach purée in the bottom of each chilled flute and slowly top with Nectar Impérial. Gently stir once with a bar spoon to combine. This yields a subtly sweeter, fruit-forward drink.

Floral lift: add 1/2 tsp elderflower liqueur to each flute before pouring for a fragrant, aromatic note. Stir gently after pouring.

Serve immediately: present the flutes at once so guests can enjoy the vibrant bubbles and fresh garnish. Replace cork on remaining bottle and chill upright in refrigerator if not finished.

To keep unfinished Nectar Impérial: reseal with a Champagne stopper and store in the refrigerator. Consume within 2–3 days for best effervescence and flavor.
