Ginger Beer Schweppes (single serving)
Equipment & optional additions
Method
Ginger Beer Schweppes (single serving)
- 1
Chill glass and ginger beer
If possible, chill the Schweppes Ginger Beer bottle and the serving glass in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes ahead of time to keep the drink crisp and fizzy longer.
- 2
Prepare glass
Fill a highball or Collins glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes (about 1 cup). If you prefer a milder dilution, use slightly less ice.
- 3
- 4
Optional: add sweetness
If you want a sweeter, softer drink, add 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of simple syrup and stir gently once to combine with the lime juice and ice.
- 5
Top with Schweppes Ginger Beer
Slowly pour 250 ml of Schweppes Ginger Beer down the side of the glass to preserve carbonation. Pouring down the side reduces foaming and keeps the drink fizzier.
- 6
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately while the ginger beer is fizzy. Offer a straw if desired.
Equipment & optional additions

Use a jigger or measuring spoon to measure simple syrup precisely. Use a citrus juicer or reamer to extract juice efficiently. Chill equipment ahead for best results. All listed equipment is optional but recommended for consistent results.
