Method

Serving the beer

  1. 1

    Chill (if not already chilled)

Place the 25cl Castello bottle in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours prior to serving. If you need it cooled quickly, submerge the bottle in an ice-and-water bath for 15–20 minutes until it reaches about 3–6°C (37–43°F).

  2. 2

    Prepare glass (optional)

If you prefer to serve in a glass, select a clean pilsner or lager glass. Rinse it briefly with cold water to chill the glass and help maintain carbonation. For a salt-rimmed presentation: wet the rim with a lime wedge, then dip lightly into a small plate of salt.

  3. 3

    Pour the beer

Hold the glass at a 45° angle. Open the 25cl Castello bottle and begin pouring slowly down the side of the glass. When the glass is about half full, slowly straighten it and finish pouring down the center to create a 1–2 cm head of foam. If serving directly from the bottle, simply open and serve upright to preserve carbonation.

  4. 4

    Serve with optional additions

If desired, add 1–2 ice cubes to the glass for a very cold drink (note: ice will dilute flavor). Garnish the rim or serve alongside with the lime wedge. Offer the pinch of salt separately or apply to the rim if a salt-enhanced flavor is preferred.

  5. 5

Enjoy immediately. Consume responsibly and keep refrigerated if any beer remains.
