Cocktail

Optional Fizzy Top

Method

Cocktail

  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Chill a coupe or rocks glass by filling it with ice and cold water while you mix the cocktail (or place in freezer 5–10 minutes).

  2. 2

    Shake cocktail

Add Pearl Pomegranate Vodka, PAMA liqueur, pomegranate juice, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty and well chilled.

  3. 3

    Strain and serve

Discard the chilling ice/water from your glass and strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or rocks glass over fresh ice (if serving on the rocks) or neat (if serving up).

  4. 4

    Finish

If you prefer a fizzy finish, gently top the cocktail with 1 oz club soda. Carefully drop 1 teaspoon of pomegranate seeds into the drink and garnish with a lime wheel or twist on the rim.

  5. 5

    Serve

Present immediately while cold. Advise the drinker to stir once to distribute the seeds and soda if added.

Optional Simple Syrup (if making at home)

  1. 6

Combine equal parts granulated sugar and water in a small saucepan (e.g., 1/2 cup sugar + 1/2 cup water). Heat gently, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool. Store in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
