Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the onion, mince the garlic, and chop the jalapeño.

2

Cook the Beef

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

3

Sauté Vegetables

Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and jalapeño to the pot. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onions are translucent.

4

Combine Ingredients

Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the Alaskan Amber beer and stir well.

5

Simmer the Chili

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6

Serve

Ladle the chili into bowls and top with shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream.
