Method

Selecting and Serving Canned Imported Sodas

1

Choose your soda

Select one can from the Available Canned Imported Sodas section based on preference: Postobón Manzana (apple), Inca-Kola, Colombiana, Diet Inca-Kola, or Jupiña (pineapple). Each can is listed as a single 330 ml serving.

2

Chill the can (if needed)

If the selected can is not already cold, place it in a refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours or submerge in an ice-water bath for 10–15 minutes until pleasantly chilled (about 4–8 °C). Chilling enhances carbonation and flavor.

3

Prepare glass and ice (optional)

If you prefer your soda over ice, place 4–6 ice cubes into a tall serving glass. For best dilution control use 4 large ice cubes; for a colder, slightly more diluted drink use 6 smaller cubes.

4

Open the can

Hold the chilled can upright on a stable surface. Use the tab to open the can: lift the tab until it clicks, then push it down to open. Pour slowly to reduce foam and preserve carbonation.

5

Pour and serve

Pour the soda into the prepared glass over the ice, angling the glass and pouring down the inner side to minimize foaming. Fill to about 90% to allow room for a lime wedge if desired.

6

Optional finishing touch

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim or squeeze a small amount of lime into the drink if you like a citrus contrast (especially good with Inca-Kola or Colombiana). Serve immediately.

7

Storing an opened can

If you do not finish the can, transfer leftover soda to a sealed container or cover the can with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Consume within 24 hours for best carbonation.
