Chill bottles
Ensure each bottled soda (Jarritos, Coca-Cola, Pony Malta) has been refrigerated for at least 2 hours prior to serving. If bottles are at room temperature, place them in an ice bath for 20–30 minutes to chill quickly.
Prepare glassware (optional)
If serving over ice, fill each serving glass about halfway with fresh ice (about 1 cup). If serving straight from the bottle, set clean glasses nearby for guests.
Open and serve
Carefully open each chilled bottle. Pour the soda into the prepared glass over ice if desired, or present the unopened chilled bottle to the guest. For Jarritos, tilt the glass and pour slowly to preserve carbonation and avoid foaming. For Pony Malta (a malty soft drink), pour steadily — it may foam slightly, so pause if needed.
Garnish and finish
Optionally garnish Coca-Cola or Jarritos with a lime wedge on the rim. Serve immediately while cold to retain carbonation and best flavor.
Storage and leftover bottles
If not finishing a bottle, reseal with the original cap and refrigerate horizontally if possible; consume within 2–3 days for best taste and carbonation. Discard if carbonation or flavor degrades significantly.
