Base & Garnish
Measure and pour Lillet
Measure 2 oz of your chosen Lillet (Blanc for a floral/citrus profile, Rosé for light red-fruit notes, Rouge for richer red-fruit and bitter-wine character). Pour the Lillet over the ice.
Garnish and finish
Express a lemon twist over the drink by holding the peel skin-side down and giving it a quick twist to spray oils onto the surface; wipe the rim with the peel and drop it in. For Rosé use a thin strawberry slice on the rim or floated; for Rouge use a thin orange wheel or twist. Optionally slap a mint sprig between your palms to release aroma and rest it atop the drink. Serve with a straw or stirring stick.
Serving note
Serve immediately while soda is still fizzy. Taste and, if desired, add an extra splash of Lillet (0.5 oz) for more body or an additional 0.5–1 oz soda for lighter dilution.
