Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Harvest the Malbec grapes and remove stems. Crush the grapes in a clean container to release the juice.

Preparation of Grapes

Add the crushed grapes to a fermentation vessel. Dissolve the sugar in water and add it to the grape mixture. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and gently stir to combine.

Fermentation

Cover the fermentation vessel with a cloth and allow it to ferment at room temperature for about 7-10 days, stirring daily.

Primary Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, press the mixture to separate the liquid wine from the solid grape skins.

Pressing

Transfer the wine to a clean aging vessel. If using, add oak chips for flavor and seal the container. Allow it to age for at least 3-6 months, tasting periodically.

Aging

Once aged, siphon the wine into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with corks and store in a cool, dark place.
