Chicken Sandwich Ingredients
Method
Preparation Directions
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the buttermilk with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the chicken breasts to the mixture, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
Prepare the Breading
In a shallow dish, place the all-purpose flour. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk marinade, allowing excess to drip off, then coat the chicken in the flour, pressing lightly to adhere.
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assemble the Sandwich
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each brioche bun. Layer with fried chicken, lettuce, and tomato slices. Drizzle Korean BBQ sauce over the top, then add the top half of the bun.
Serve
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious chicken sandwich!
