Crouton Preparation

Make the Croutons
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread slices into cubes. In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Dressing Preparation

Prepare the Caesar Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined. Season with black pepper to taste.
Salad Assembly

Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, chop the romaine lettuce and add it to the bowl. Tear the prosciutto into pieces and add to the lettuce. Add the prepared croutons and drizzle with the Caesar dressing. Toss gently to combine. Serve topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
