Preparation

1

Prepare the Brisket

Rub the beef brisket with donair spice and let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

2

Caramelize the Onions

Slice the onions thinly and cook them in a pan over medium heat with a little oil until they are golden brown and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

Cooking

3

Cook the Brisket

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the marinated brisket in a roasting pan and cook for 3-4 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart. Let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.

Assembly

4

Assemble the Donair

Slice the brisket thinly and place it on a serving plate. Top with caramelized onions, Oka cheese, pickled onions, and fresh basil. Drizzle with donair sauce and chili oil to taste.
