Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the pork ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
Bake the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
Cool and Coat
Remove the ribs from the oven and allow them to cool for about 15 minutes. Once cooled, coat the ribs in cornstarch evenly.
Flash-Fry the Ribs
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Fry the coated ribs in batches until they are crispy and golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
Toss in BBQ Sauce
Remove the ribs from the oil and drain on paper towels. Toss the hot, crispy ribs in BBQ sauce until well-coated.
Serve
Serve the sticky ribs immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
