Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Tofu

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Slice the tofu into 1-inch cubes.

2

Marinate the Tofu

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Add the tofu cubes and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

3

Coat the Tofu

After marinating, sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu cubes and toss gently to coat.

4

Fry the Tofu

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tofu cubes and fry until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

5

Prepare the Scallion Garnish

In a small bowl, mix the chopped scallions with a little extra soy sauce if desired.

6

Serve

Once the tofu is crispy, remove it from the pan and place it on a serving plate. Top with the scallion mixture and crispy fried onions. Serve immediately.
