Preparation

1

Prepare Vegetables

Wash and chop all the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Ensure the bell peppers are sliced, the broccoli is cut into florets, the carrots are julienned, the snap peas are trimmed, and the zucchini is sliced.

2

Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water. Stir until the cornstarch is well dissolved and the mixture is uniform. Add red chili flakes and black pepper to taste.

Cooking

3

Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil (optional) and add the prepared vegetables. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

4

Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Toss well to coat all the vegetables evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and the vegetables are well combined.

Serving

5

Garnish and Serve

Remove the stir-fry from heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately while hot, either as a main dish or as a side.
