Method

Preparing the Ribs

1

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

2

Prepare Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.

3

Season Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

Cooking the Ribs

4

Bake Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover with another piece of foil. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

5

Rest Ribs

Once done, remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Making the BBQ Sauce

6

Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

7

Simmer Sauce

Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes until thickened.

Glazing and Serving

8

Glaze Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the ribs with the BBQ sauce on both sides.

9

Grill Ribs

Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, basting with more sauce until caramelized.

10

Serve

Remove from grill, slice into portions and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
