San Pellegrino (single bottle)

Method

Serve chilled

1

Chill bottle (if needed)

Place the 500ml bottle of San Pellegrino in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving, or chill for 20–30 minutes in an ice bath if you need it quickly. Aim for a serving temperature of about 6–8°C (43–46°F).

2

Prepare glass

If desired, select a chilled glass. Add 4 ice cubes to the glass if you prefer your water extra cold. Note: adding ice will dilute carbonation slightly as it melts.

3

Open bottle

Hold the bottle upright and unscrew the cap slowly to release pressure gently. Pour steadily into the prepared glass to preserve carbonation and minimize foaming.

4

Garnish (optional)

If desired, squeeze or drop a lemon wedge into the glass for a hint of citrus. Serve the remaining wedge on the side.

5

Serve immediately while the water is cold and effervescent. Discard any unused opened bottle after 24 hours for best flavor and carbonation.
