Scoop of Ice Cream
Small Fruit Juice
Tools & Serving
Method
Scoop of Ice Cream
Prepare and serve ice cream
Slightly soften the vanilla ice cream by letting it sit at room temperature for 3–5 minutes so it scoops cleanly. If using an alternative flavor, allow the same brief softening. Chill your serving bowl or glass briefly if desired (optional).
Using a warmed ice cream scoop (dip scoop in hot water and shake off excess) or a spoon, scoop one rounded scoop of ice cream and place it into the small dessert bowl or serving glass.
Add garnishes: place a fresh mint leaf on top and sprinkle chocolate shavings or sprinkles (about 1 tsp) over the scoop for color and texture.
Small Fruit Juice
Choose and chill juice
Select one juice (orange, apple, or mixed berry). Ensure it is chilled. If freshly squeezed, strain if desired to remove pulp for a smooth small-juice serving.
If you prefer the juice slightly sweeter, stir in 1 tsp simple syrup or honey until dissolved.
Garnish the juice with a small fruit slice or a few berries on the rim or floated on top.
Final Presentation & Serving
Optional pairing notes: vanilla ice cream pairs well with orange juice for a creamsicle-like contrast; chocolate scoop works nicely with apple juice; berry juice complements strawberry ice cream.
