Pão de Queijo Ingredients
Method
Pão de Queijo Preparation
Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cassava flour and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs. Gradually pour the milk mixture into the flour, stirring until a dough forms.
Add Cheese and Sausage
Fold in the shredded Queso Blanco and crumbled Linguica sausage into the dough until evenly distributed.
Form the Balls
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Using your hands, form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake
Bake the Pão de Queijo in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are puffed and lightly golden on top.
Serve with Slaw
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with a side of Chili-Honey Slaw.
