Preparation
Prepare the Glass
Take a lime wedge and rub it around the rim of a chilled margarita glass. Dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it evenly. Set aside.
Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice.
Shake and Strain
Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled. Strain the mixture into the prepared margarita glass filled with ice.
Garnish
Garnish your margarita with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
