Base Juice (choose 1–2)

Citrus Brighteners (optional)

Sweeteners & Finishing

Method

Prep

1

Wash and prepare produce

Thoroughly wash all fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Peel citrus, ginger and turmeric. Core apples and chop larger produce (carrots, beets, cucumber, celery) into pieces small enough for your juicer or blender.

2

Decide juice combination

Choose one or two items from the Base Juice section as the primary flavor (example: 2 cups orange + 1 cup apple). Optionally select one or two Vegetable Add-ins and one herb or aromatic to complement the base.

Juicing (for juicer)

3

Pass selected fruits and vegetables through a cold-press or centrifugal juicer according to the manufacturer's instructions. Start with leafy herbs and softer items (mint, basil), then do ginger/turmeric, then harder vegetables (carrot, beet), and finish with citrus to help push through any remaining pulp. Collect juice in a clean pitcher.

4

If using pre-pressed base juices (like freshly squeezed orange or apple), combine them in the pitcher and then add any vegetable or herb juices produced. Stir gently to combine.

Blender Method (if no juicer)

5

Place chosen base fruits (peeled citrus, apples) and any vegetables/herbs into a high-speed blender with 1 cup cold water. Add ginger/turmeric if using. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 45–60 seconds.

6

Strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a pitcher, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard or reserve pulp for smoothies or baking.

Finish & Balance

7

Taste the combined juice. Add fresh lemon or lime juice (1 tsp–1 tbs) to brighten flavor as needed. If the juice is too intense or sweet, dilute with cold water or sparkling water up to 1 cup to desired strength.

8

Sweeten lightly if needed: stir in honey or agave 1 tsp at a time until desired sweetness is reached. Add a pinch of sea salt to enhance overall flavor.

9

If using zest, grate a small amount of orange zest (about 1 tsp) over the pitcher and stir to add aroma.

Serve & Store

10

Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour juice over ice and garnish with a sprig of mint or a thin wheel of citrus if desired.

11

Fresh juices are best consumed immediately. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24–48 hours; shake or stir before serving. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays and use within 1 month.
