Preparation
Prepare the Au Jus
In a small saucepan, heat beef broth over medium heat. Add Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder, and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and keep warm.
Toast the Rolls
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the hoagie rolls in half and spread butter on the cut sides. Place them on a baking sheet, cut side up, and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Assemble the Sandwiches
Layer the thinly sliced roast beef on the bottom half of each hoagie roll. Place a slice of Swiss cheese over the beef. Top with the other half of the roll.
Heat the Sandwiches
Return the assembled sandwiches to the oven and heat for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the beef is warm.
Serve
Slice the sandwiches in half and serve hot with the warm au jus for dipping.
