Cocktail
Garnish / Antipasto Skewer (per cocktail)
Method
Cocktail
Prepare glass rim
Rub the lemon wedge around the rim of a highball or pint glass, then dip the rim into coarse salt or celery salt to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Build and mix
Fill a cocktail shaker or mixing glass with ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 oz vodka, 4 oz housemade Bloody Mary mix, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp hot sauce, 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 0.5 tsp celery salt, and 0.25 tsp smoked paprika (if using).
Shake or roll
Secure the shaker and give it a firm but brief shake (8–10 seconds) to chill and slightly dilute, or alternatively roll the mixture between two mixing glasses 6–8 times if you prefer less foam.
Garnish / Antipasto Skewer
Assemble skewer
Take one cocktail skewer and thread the antipasto items in this order (or in the order you prefer): one cocktail olive, one folded slice of cured meat, one cheese cube, one pickled pearl onion, and one pepperoncini. Press gently so the components sit snugly on the skewer. If using a long celery stalk, place it alongside the skewer in the glass for additional garnish.
